It's not true that Paris is
expensive. It's possible for two
people to visit Paris for a few days and
spend less than 100€ per
person per day for hotel
and three meals, total.
It's somewhat easier
if you're willing to spend 150€ per
person, particularly in busy
tourist seasons.
If you stay for a week or two, you can rent
a small apartment, get more space
and convenience, save by preparing some of
your own meals, perhaps share your lodging
costs with another couple, and lower your
daily cost for lodging and food to as little
as
60€ to 80€ per
person per day. (Try that in New York, London
or Tokyo!)
