France Travel Planner by Tom Brosnahan & Jane Fisher   Hotels in Bordeaux, France
From classic grand hotels to modern sleek places and apartments/flats, Bordeaux has the lodgings you want.

Bordeaux's prime hotel is the 5-star, 150-room Intercontinental Bordeaux Le Grand Hotel facing the Grande Théâtre in the Place de la Comédie at the very heart of the city.

Several less expensive hotels are just south of the Place de la Comédie along rue Sainte-Catherine, including the 2-star, 23-room Hôtel du Théâtre, the 3-star, 74-room Quality Hotel Bordeaux Centre, and the 3-star, 27-room Hôtel de la Presse Bordeaux Centre.

The boutique Hotel Des 4 Soeurs is just north of of the Place de la Comédie, almost next to the Office de Tourisme.

As usual, there are several serviceable hotels very near the train station (Gare de Bordeaux St-Jean), including the classic 3-star ibis Bordeaux Centre Gare Saint Jean Euratlantique, a modern high-rise 2-star ibis budget Bordeaux Centre - Gare Saint Jean, and the small-apartment Ténéo Aparthotel Bordeaux (marked Ténéo Suites on the building itself).

For more comfortable rooms, try the 4-star, 99-room Novotel Bordeaux Centre Gare Saint Jean just a few short blocks northwest of the station along rue de Tauzia.
